This is the current working version of this page. It says what we actually do, in plain English, and it's in final review before launch. If anything material changes, existing users will be told by email — never by a silent edit.
This is the current working version of our refund policy. It's written to match exactly how we handle refunds in practice. We'll keep it current as Chewbr launches, and we'll tell existing users about any material change.
1. The guarantee
Every first payment on Chewbr — Pro monthly ($24), Pro annual ($228), or the Founders Package ($99) — has a 30-day, no-questions-asked, money-back guarantee. Hit Request a refund in Billing, or just reply to any email we've ever sent you. It's issued the same day — within 24 hours at the outside — back to your original payment method. Banks then take 5–10 days to land it; that part's them, not us.
The guarantee applies once per customer. That's the only catch, and it exists so the guarantee can stay this simple for everyone honest — which is nearly everyone.
2. Renewals
Cancel anytime — you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and you're never charged again. If a renewal charge catches you out, tell us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it in full.
3. Annual plans after day 30
Annual is $228 — two months free against paying monthly. After your first 30 days you're committed for the year you bought; there are no pro-rata refunds. Auto-renew switches off anytime, so that year is the only year you're ever committed to.
4. The Founders Package
The 30-day guarantee applies, same as everything else. If you refund a Founders Package, your seat is retired, not resold — the cap of 100 only ever goes down. And the once-per-customer rule means a refunded Founders seat can't claim the guarantee again later.
5. Cancelling is not refunding
Cancelling stops future charges and keeps your access until the period ends — do it anytime in Billing, no email needed. After a refund or a cancellation your account drops to the Free tier — it's never deleted. Your work stays where you left it, and the door stays open.
6. Your statutory rights
UK and EU buyers have a statutory 14-day cooling-off right for digital services, which ends when you ask for immediate access at checkout — you'll see exactly that consent line when you pay. Our 30-day guarantee is deliberately more generous than, and doesn't affect, your statutory rights, including your rights if the service is faulty or not as described.
