App functionality

For each video, Chewbr provides an interactive 47-point checklist across five phases:

  1. Plan — score ideas, research the angle, write hooks, set a publish date.
  2. Produce — script, shoot, edit, captions, export.
  3. Package — thumbnails, titles, description, chapters, tags, feed preview.
  4. Post — upload or schedule to YouTube, first-hour checks, early replies.
  5. Promote — community posts, Shorts cuts, reply window after publish.

Tools sit inside the checklist steps that need them (idea ranker, keyword research, niche helper, hooks and shot lists, thumbnail and title workspace, YouTube upload, and more). Around the checklist: an ideas inbox, dates on each video, channel analytics after YouTube is connected, streaks tied to checklist work, and a Knowledge Bank of short guides.

Purpose for which Chewbr requests Google user data

Connecting a Google account is optional. When you connect, Chewbr requests Google user data only for the following purposes:

  • Sign-in and account creation. Google account ID, name, email, and avatar so Chewbr can create and recognise your account.
  • YouTube channel analytics (read-only). Channel identity and analytics such as views, watch time, click-through rate, and retention, so Chewbr can show your own channel statistics inside the app after you connect.
  • YouTube publishing (user-initiated only). Permission to upload or schedule videos you choose to your own YouTube channel. Chewbr does not post, edit, or delete content on your channel unless you start that action.

Chewbr uses YouTube API Services. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or train AI or machine-learning models on it.

You can disconnect Google in Chewbr Settings, or revoke Chewbr's access at Google account permissions.
