Terms of Service
Working version
This is the current working version of this page. It says what we actually do, in plain English, and it's in final review before launch. If anything material changes, existing users will be told by email — never by a silent edit.
The plain-English promise first: these terms say what we actually do. There's no trick buried in section 14. If anything here surprises you, email us — that's a bug in the writing, and we'll fix it.
1. Who you're dealing with
Chewbr is operated by CRS STORE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12670925), registered office: Lion And Lamb, Fore Street, Ashton, Helston, England, TR13 9RW. CRS STORE LTD is not VAT-registered, so prices do not include VAT.
We're operating through CRS STORE LTD while we complete the incorporation of Chewbr Ltd. When Chewbr Ltd is incorporated, this contract — including every right you have under it, and the Founders lifetime promise if you bought one — is assigned from CRS STORE LTD to Chewbr Ltd automatically. You don't need to do anything; you'll get one email telling you it's happened. The full story is at chewbr.net/legal/interim-trading.
In these terms, "Chewbr", "we" and "us" means CRS STORE LTD now, and Chewbr Ltd after the assignment. "You" means the person holding the account.
2. What Chewbr is (and isn't)
Chewbr is a workflow platform for content creators. It walks a video through five phases — Plan, Produce, Package, Post, Promote — with a 47-point checklist, a Knowledge Bank, analytics, streaks and XP, accountability partners, and tools for publishing to YouTube.
What it isn't: a growth guarantee. The checklists, articles, analytics and suggestions are guidance, not promises — your channel's results depend on your work, not ours. Chewbr is an independent product: we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of YouTube or Google.
3. Your account
Give us accurate details, and keep your sign-in credentials and any API keys to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 to use Chewbr, and old enough to hold a Google or YouTube account in your country if you connect one. If you're under 18, get a parent or guardian's permission before paying for anything.
Accounts are personal — one creator, one account. If you ever need to transfer an account or a Founders seat to someone else, ask us first: chris@chewbr.net. We're reasonable.
4. Plans, prices and billing
- Free — $0, permanent. Not a trial, and no card needed. Free has limits (shown in the product), and they may evolve as we learn.
- Pro — $24/month, or $228/year (that's $19/month — two months free).
- Founders Package — $99 one-off, lifetime Pro. Section 6 is all about it.
All prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. If your card isn't in USD, your bank applies its own conversion rate.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Billing settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for, and you keep access until then. If a payment fails we'll retry; if it keeps failing, your account drops to the Free tier. We don't delete accounts over failed payments.
If we ever change a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects you, and it only applies from your next renewal — never mid-cycle. Founders never pay again, so price changes can't touch them.
5. Refunds, cancellations and cooling-off
Chewbr's Free tier is permanent and needs no card, so you can run the core workflow and take your time before you pay. Because of that, paid plans and the Founders Package are final once your access begins, and we don't run a general money-back guarantee. Two things sit alongside that. If you're on Pro monthly and you're unsure rather than unhappy, email us within your first 30 days and we'll add two months free so you can decide properly (once per customer; Pro annual already includes two months free, so it doesn't apply there). And cancelling is always free and instant in Billing: it stops your next charge, you keep access to the end of the period you've paid for, and your account then drops to the Free tier without being deleted. The full detail is at chewbr.net/legal/refund.
Your statutory cooling-off right. UK and EU buyers normally have a 14-day right to cancel a digital purchase. At checkout you ask for immediate access to Chewbr and confirm you understand that this ends the 14-day right once your access begins. Separately, and always: if the service is faulty or not as described, your statutory rights are unaffected and we'll put it right. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
6. The Founders Package
$99, once. Lifetime Pro — every Pro feature, forever, with no recurring charge. Capped at 100 seats, ever: when they're gone, or the launch window closes, the package is retired and never reopened.
What "lifetime" means. The lifetime of Chewbr the product — not twelve months dressed up, and not "the lifetime of the offer". For as long as Chewbr runs, your access runs. It's backed by the shutdown commitments in section 12, including the codebase promise.
The Founders Package is final once your access begins; the Free tier is there to try Chewbr first, with no card. In the rare case a seat is ever released, it is retired, not resold, so the cap of 100 only ever drops. Your statutory rights if the service is faulty or not as described are unaffected (section 5).
The other Founders perks — beta access, the Founder tag, the numbered notebook, the Founders Wall, the private channel, and the rest — are as described on the Founders page at the time you buy. The notebook is physical and ships in small batches, so allow a few weeks.
Your Founders contract, lifetime promise included, transfers automatically to Chewbr Ltd on incorporation (sections 1 and 15).
7. Your content and your data
You own everything you put into Chewbr — ideas, scripts, titles, notes, checklists, uploads. All of it. You give us permission to host, process, back up and display it only as needed to run the service for you, and that permission ends when you delete the content or your account.
Three commitments, in writing: we don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't train AI models on your content — ours or anyone else's. The detail is in the Privacy Policy.
8. AI features
Parts of Chewbr generate suggestions — titles, hooks, ideas, feedback. Suggestions are drafts, not facts: check anything that matters before you publish it. What you keep is yours (section 7 applies).
Every plan includes fair-use limits on AI generation, so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. The limits are product design, not small print — you'll see them in the app, not discover them in a dispute.
9. Connecting YouTube and Google
Connecting your Google account is optional. If you do, Chewbr asks for read-only access to your YouTube channel and analytics — and, only if you use the publishing feature, permission to upload videos you choose to your own channel. We never post, edit or delete anything on your channel on our own initiative; uploads happen only when you start them.
Chewbr uses YouTube API Services. By connecting, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy. You can disconnect in Settings, or revoke Chewbr's access entirely at Google security settings, at any time.
10. Acceptable use
Don't use Chewbr to plan, produce or promote content that's illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative of minors, or that promotes violence or self-harm. Don't attack the platform — no breaking, probing, scraping, reverse-engineering or overloading it. Don't resell access or share accounts. API keys and the MCP server are for your own account, within the published rate limits.
If you find something broken, tell us rather than exploiting it. We fix fast, and we say thank you.
11. Beta, availability and change
Chewbr was aimed to open as a closed beta on 25 July 2026. That date has slipped — there is no set open date yet, and access is coming soon. We'll email the waitlist and Founders when it opens, then move to public launch after that. It's early software moving quickly: features will evolve, get renamed, merged, and occasionally removed. We don't promise uptime percentages at this stage — we promise to take reliability seriously and to tell you the truth when something breaks. And we won't quietly remove something you've paid for: material changes come with notice (section 14).
12. Suspension, closure, and the shutdown promise
If an account breaks section 10, we can suspend or close it. We'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right, unless the situation is serious enough that we can't.
You can close your account anytime in Settings, or by emailing chris@chewbr.net. Your data is then deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
If we ever shut Chewbr down entirely, we will: (a) give you at least 60 days' notice, (b) provide a full export of your data, and (c) refund the unused portion of any annual subscription. And as a separate commitment to Founders: if the company operating Chewbr ceases operations, we release the codebase publicly or hand it to whoever wants to keep it running. That promise also lives in our founders' agreement.
13. Liability
Chewbr is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable and useful, but we don't promise it will be perfect or fit every use case, and we're not liable for lost profits, lost audiences, or what any algorithm decides to do.
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Chewbr is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability the law says can't be limited — fraud, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
14. Changes to these terms
We'll update these terms as the product grows. For material changes we'll email you at least 30 days before they take effect; carrying on using Chewbr after that means you accept them. If you don't, cancel — the refund policy and your statutory rights still apply. The "last updated" date at the top always tells you which version you're reading.
15. Assignment
We may assign this contract from CRS STORE LTD to Chewbr Ltd on its incorporation — and Chewbr Ltd may assign it onward only to an entity that takes on these terms in full (for example, in a restructure). Every assignment carries your rights with it, lifetime access included, and you'll always be told by email. You may not assign your account to someone else without our agreement (section 3).
16. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales — except that if you're a consumer somewhere else, you keep any protections and venue rights your local law doesn't let you give up.
Anything at all: chris@chewbr.net. Chris reads everything.
