Monetisation & Revenue
Average Revenue Per User
Also called: ARPU, revenue per member
Borrowed from subscription businesses. For creators it usually means membership or Patreon income divided by paying supporters, though some people divide by the whole audience including free followers, which produces a far smaller number that means something completely different. Always say which denominator you used. Because it is a mean, a handful of top-tier supporters can pull it well above what a typical member actually pays, so look at the median too if you want to know what the middle of your base looks like. Track it next to churn: rising ARPU alongside rising churn often means the cheap tier was priced out.
