Also called: banned words, word filter, chat filter
You set the list once in Studio's community settings and it applies across the channel. Comments containing or closely matching a listed term get pulled out of public view and parked in the Held tab, where they wait up to sixty days for you to approve, ignore or remove them. Live chat messages carrying the same terms are blocked as they are sent. Matching is approximate, which catches deliberate misspellings and also catches innocent words that happen to contain a banned string. Approved users and channel moderators are exempt, so regulars and mods will not trip it.
