Audience, Community & Membership
Comment section
Also called: comments
Everyone sees it, including people who have not pressed play, which makes it part of a video's packaging as much as a place for the audience to talk. Creators have real control: comments can be held for review or filtered by keyword, and Studio's comment search finds messages by meaning rather than exact wording, which makes moderating a busy video practical. Pinning one comment puts your own framing at the top. Comment volume gets treated as a growth lever more than it deserves. In Shorts recommendations, per-video signals such as average view duration carry more consistent weight than likes, comments and shares, because retention exists on every video and interactions do not.
