High frame rate
Also called: HFR, 120fps, high speed
Record at 120 frames per second and deliver at 24, and you have five times the frames, which plays back at a fifth of the speed with no stutter and no software inventing images to fill gaps. Sixty frames into a 24 or 25 frame timeline gives a gentler slowdown that many creators prefer for b-roll.
It costs you elsewhere. High frame rates need much more light, because the shutter is open for less time on each frame, and cameras often crop the sensor to handle the data. Most bodies also stop recording audio in their fastest modes. Plan those shots as picture only.
