A home studio is a space you stop dismantling. The lights stay on their stands, the camera stays on its tripod at a marked position, the microphone stays rigged, and filming becomes a matter of sitting down and pressing record.
The gain is almost entirely in friction rather than image quality. A creator who has to spend 40 minutes building a set will find reasons to film tomorrow. If a whole room is out of the question, a corner with taped floor marks gets most of the benefit.
