Screen recording

Any capture tool will record a screen, and the quality difference comes from setup. Record at the resolution you will publish or higher, because scaling a 1080p capture up looks soft. Clear the desktop, close notifications, and raise the interface scale, since text that is comfortable on a 27 inch monitor is unreadable on a phone. Cursor size matters more than people expect.

Capturing a region instead of the whole screen keeps the important part large in frame. For anything long, record audio separately, so a mistake in one does not force you to redo the other.
