Viewers pay for one of YouTube's sticker designs and it appears, pinned, in the chat. Super Chat is the sibling feature. It buys a written message instead, and the two run side by side on the same broadcast. Access arrives with the fan-funding tier of the Partner Program, which a channel reaches before any share of ad revenue, and it only works where live chat is switched on. Streams marked made for kids are excluded, along with private, unlisted and age-restricted ones, which catches out plenty of people planning a members-only broadcast.
