Text-to-Speech
Also called: TTS, synthetic narration
Modern systems generate narration from typed text with control over pace and emphasis, and some will clone your own voice from a sample. Creators use them for faceless channels, for placeholder voiceover while an edit comes together, and for hearing whether a script works spoken, which is worth doing even if the synthetic take never ships. Publishing needs more care. YouTube treats material built from templates with little variation between uploads as generic and repetitive, which affects monetisation. Disclosure is separate: an AI content label alone has no effect on recommendations or earnings.
