Analytics, Retention & Metrics

Advanced mode

Also called: Studio advanced mode, advanced analytics

Advanced mode is the full analytics table in YouTube Studio, reached from the button in the top right of any analytics screen. It puts every video and every dimension into one sortable grid, lets you compare two videos or two date ranges side by side, and exposes breakdowns the summary cards hide, including engaged views on Shorts and the report on how videos performed in their first 24 hours.

Most creators never open it. That is a shame, because the questions worth asking usually need two dimensions at once. Average view duration split by subscriber status is the sort of thing the default screens cannot show you.
