Analytics groups

Also called: groups, content groups

Built inside YouTube Studio's analytics, a group collects videos, playlists or channels you want measured together. Once it exists it appears as a filter across most reports, so you can hold every episode of one series against every episode of another, or check how last quarter's videos did as a block.

Groups are invisible to viewers. Nothing gets published, nothing gets linked, and adding a video to a group changes nothing about how that video is served. They are a reporting convenience, and they start earning their keep once a channel has enough videos that scrolling the list stops being practical.
