Channel Whitelisting
Also called: whitelist, channel clearance, clear my channel
Subscription libraries such as Epidemic Sound and Artlist license music to you, then whitelist the specific channels you name so their catalogue stops being claimed there. Without it, a track you are properly licensed to use can still get flagged, because Content ID is matching audio and knows nothing about your subscription.
The details trip people up. Whitelisting is per channel, so a second channel has to be added separately, and it can take a day or two to take effect. It also generally ends when the subscription does, and whether videos published while you were subscribed stay covered afterwards varies by library. Read that clause before you cancel.
