Community Guidelines warning

Also called: warning, first warning

The first time a video breaks a Community Guidelines policy, the video comes down and the channel gets a warning instead of a strike. YouTube offers a short in-product training on the specific policy you broke; complete it and the warning is removed, provided you do not break that same policy again within 90 days. Break it inside that window and you get a strike. Break it after the window and you get another warning and another chance at the training. Strikes are the serious part, since three inside 90 days can end a channel. Repeat offenders can also lose access to the training route.
