Copyright claim
Also called: claim, claimed video
The usual form is a Content ID match on music or footage, which typically leaves the video up and redirects its ad revenue to the claimant, sometimes with a block in certain countries. Your channel standing is untouched. A copyright strike is a different animal: a formal legal removal request, the video comes down, and three of them close the channel. Creators panic at the word claim because the two get used interchangeably in conversation. Check which one you actually have before doing anything, because the dispute process and the stakes are completely different.
