Monetisation & Revenue

Cost Per Click

Also called: CPC

CPC belongs to the buying side of advertising. An advertiser decides what a click is worth to them, bids accordingly, and the auction settles on a price. Creators sit on the other side of that auction and are paid on impressions and revenue share, which is why Studio reports CPM and RPM with no CPC column anywhere in it. The term still matters if you buy ads yourself or negotiate with a brand who measures everything in cost per click and expects you to speak the same language.
