Loyalty Badge

Also called: member badge, loyalty badges

Loyalty badges mark how long someone has been paying for a channel membership. A new member gets the starter badge and it changes at each milestone, running from one month through to several years. The badge shows next to their name in live chat and in comments on the channel.

Two details catch creators out. The badge tracks tenure and takes no notice of which membership level someone bought, so a two year member on the cheapest tier outranks somebody who joined last week on the dearest. And the default set can be swapped for your own artwork, which is one of the cheapest pieces of channel identity you can make.
