Marker

Every editor has them, usually on the M key. You watch a rough pass, tap M wherever something needs attention, and end up with a punch list attached to the exact frames rather than a page of vague notes. Most tools let you colour them, name them, attach a comment and filter by colour.

They earn their keep on longer projects and in review. A marker at each music hit gives you the grid to cut against, and a run of markers at your chapter points exports as a list you can paste straight into the description. Colour coding keeps the missing graphics separate from the audio fixes.
