Net subscribers

Studio reports gains and losses separately, and the net figure is the difference. A video can bring in several hundred new subscribers and still show a small net gain if it also prompted unsubscribes elsewhere on the channel that day. Losses are normal at every size, so a non-zero unsubscribe number on its own says little. What the public counter shows will not match your Studio figure exactly. Counts above a thousand are abbreviated for viewers, and the number lags, so comparing the two and worrying about the gap wastes time.
