Reach
Also called: Reach tab
Everything about discovery sits in this report. It answers how many times YouTube put the thumbnail in front of someone, how often that turned into a click, how many views resulted, and where the traffic came from. Reach appears at video level, and the equivalent channel-level grouping has shifted between tabs as YouTube has reorganised Studio, so the section name you see may differ from the one an old tutorial mentions. Read it next to the engagement figures. A strong impressions click-through rate paired with weak watch time usually means the packaging promised something the video did not deliver.
