Buy a single-use licence and you have cleared that one piece of music for that one production. The terms name where it may appear, for how long and in which territories, and a second video needs a second purchase. Libraries selling this way often call it a needle drop, after the days of dropping a stylus onto a production disc.

It suits occasional use and one-off projects with a real budget. Anybody publishing weekly works out cheaper on a subscription.
