Smart glasses

Also called: camera glasses, POV glasses, Meta Ray-Bans, recording glasses

Meta's Ray-Ban range made these ordinary from 2023 onwards, and several rivals now ship something similar. You get a small forward-facing camera, microphones, and an indicator light telling everyone nearby that recording is happening. Clips are short, vertical by default, and stabilised in software.

The appeal for a creator is candour, since nobody performs for a pair of glasses the way they perform for a lens on a tripod, and both hands stay free. The limits are real: image quality sits well below a modern phone, battery life is counted in clips rather than hours, and filming people who have not consented is a legal problem in plenty of places.
