Transaction Revenue
Also called: paid content revenue, transactions
Studio splits estimated revenue by source. Advertising and YouTube Premium sit on one side, and transaction revenue covers the direct payments: channel memberships, Supers such as Super Chat and Super Thanks, merchandise and paid content. Timing and revenue splits vary between those features, so the line is a rollup of several products. The number is most useful as a proportion, because a channel earning most of its money from transactions is running a different business from one earning it from ads, and it responds to different things.
