YouTube Terms of Service

Using the service accepts the terms, and continuing to use it after an update accepts the update. Inside are the parts creators keep running into: the licence you grant YouTube over what you upload, YouTube's right to remove content or terminate access, limits on automated access and scraping, and the rules on what your account may be used for.

The Community Guidelines, the monetisation policies and the advertiser-friendly guidelines all hang off it, so an appeal that argues a guideline is unfair is arguing with the wrong document. Terms vary slightly by region and the paid tiers add their own on top.
