Once earnings cross a verification threshold, which varies by country, Google generates the PIN and sends it out to you by standard international post. Expect roughly three weeks, longer in some countries, and there is no tracking number. Payments stay on hold until the code is entered, so the balance keeps building while nothing leaves the account.

The window is four months from the date the PIN was generated. Miss it and ads stop running on your content until the code is finally entered. Request a replacement if one never turns up. Entering the wrong code repeatedly locks the process, so check the address on the account before the first PIN goes out.
