Average time in playlist

Also called: playlist watch time per start

This one measures the depth of a playlist, in minutes, from the moment someone starts it. Read it with two neighbours: playlist starts, which counts how often people begin a playlist, and views per playlist start, which counts how many videos they get through. Together the three tell you whether a playlist holds anyone. A strong figure usually means the ordering makes sense and the videos belong together. One caveat. It only counts time spent inside the playlist, so a viewer who leaves it and carries on watching your channel elsewhere stops adding to the number.
