Channel keywords

Channel keywords sit in YouTube Studio under Settings, then Channel, then Basic info. It is a single comma-separated field describing what the channel as a whole covers, and viewers never see any of it.

The field gets more attention than it earns. Nobody outside YouTube can measure what it does, so most advice on optimising it is guesswork dressed up as method. Fill it in once with plain descriptions of your subject and move on.
