Hate speech policy
Also called: hate speech
The policy covers nine protected attributes: age, caste, disability, ethnicity and race, immigration status, nationality, religion, sex and gender and sexual orientation, veteran status, and victims of major violent events along with their families. Prohibited material includes incitement, dehumanising comparisons, hateful slurs and stereotypes, and denial of documented violent events.
A first offence usually brings a warning, three strikes inside 90 days ends the channel, and the worst cases are removed straight away. Educational, documentary and satirical treatment is allowed where the context sits in the video itself. Explaining your intent in the description will not save a video that plays straight.
