Harmful or dangerous content policy

Also called: dangerous challenges policy, dangerous acts

This policy covers material that could cause serious injury if a viewer copied it: dangerous challenges and pranks, extremely risky stunts without adequate warning, instructions for making weapons or hard drugs, hacking and circumvention tutorials, and anything promoting self-harm or eating disorders. Some of it is age-restricted and the rest is removed with a strike attached.

Educational, documentary and scientific framing changes how a video gets judged, though the framing has to be present in the video itself rather than asserted in the description. Three Community Guidelines strikes inside 90 days can end a channel, so this is a policy to read before filming. If a video needs a disclaimer to be legal, it probably needs a different idea.
