Multicam
Also called: multi-camera, multicam live
A second angle gives the editor somewhere to cut to, which is what interviews, podcasts and live shows are built on. Live, the feeds go into a hardware switcher or software such as OBS and a person cuts on the fly. In post, the editor syncs the clips by timecode or audio waveform into a multicam clip, then switches angles along the timeline as though it were one take. Sync is where this falls over. Clap at the top of every take, run a common audio reference into all the cameras, and settle any frame rate mismatch before the shoot rather than after it.
