Three strikes rule

A copyright strike arrives when a rights holder sends a valid legal removal request, and the video comes down with it. Three active strikes and the account is subject to termination, along with any channel attached to it. The uploads become inaccessible and the owner cannot open new ones. A strike expires 90 days after it was issued, provided Copyright School is completed and the channel is under three. Retraction by the claimant or a successful counter notification clears one early. Community Guidelines strikes run a separate count on their own 90-day window, so a channel can sit one strike from termination in a system nobody was watching.
