Title truncation

The full title lives on the watch page. The home feed, search results, the suggested column and the mobile app each show a different slice of it, and where the cut lands depends on surface, device and font, so no single character count protects you everywhere. Put the part that earns the click at the front. Treat anything past roughly the first half as a bonus that may go unread, and remember that sequence numbers, channel names and Part 3 tags at the start of a title spend your most valuable position on something the viewer already knows.
