Vlogmas

Also called: daily December vlogs

Vlogmas is a December tradition where a creator posts a vlog every day up to Christmas, sometimes stopping on the 25th and sometimes running to New Year. It came out of the lifestyle and beauty side of YouTube and has spread to almost every category with a presenter in front of the camera.

It works because the audience gets a daily habit at the time of year they are most online, and it turns on you the moment you start unprepared. Twenty-five uploads in a row, plus Christmas, is a production schedule. The people who finish banked filler episodes in November.
