Baked-In Ad

Also called: baked in, embedded ad

Once you export, the read is part of the video like any other scene. That is the appeal for the brand: it plays for every viewer, everywhere, for as long as the video stays up, and it survives ad blockers because technically it is not an ad. Long-tail views keep delivering it years later, which is why permanence is priced into a good rate.

The cost is that you cannot take it back. If the sponsor turns out to be a bad actor, the code expires or the link dies, your options are a pinned comment, a description edit or deleting the video. Be slower to accept a baked-in read than one that expires, and check who you are vouching for.
