Approval process

Also called: brand approval, sign-off, script approval

Most sponsorship contracts give the brand a look before publication, usually at the script or talking-points stage and again on the finished cut. Sensible ones put a cap on it: a fixed number of revision rounds and a stated turnaround, so a legal team sitting on a file for nine days cannot quietly move your upload date.

Unlimited approvals are where sponsored videos go to die. Agree the number of rounds, the response window and what happens when the brand misses it, all before signing. Settle the thumbnail and title too, since a brand rewriting your packaging can cost more views than the fee was worth.
