Channel permissions

Also called: channel access, manager role, editor role

You add people by email in Studio under settings, and each one gets a role that fixes what they can do. Managers can upload, publish, delete and add other people. Editors can work on content without those powers. Viewers can read analytics and nothing else, and limited variants of each role hide revenue figures. Everyone signs in with their own Google account, so access is removed individually when somebody leaves. Two things catch people out: the channel has to be linked to a Brand Account before you can add anyone, and owner-level control sits with the Brand Account rather than with these roles.
