Claim retraction
Also called: claim released, released claim, retracted claim
Claims get released for several reasons. You dispute successfully, you use Studio's editing tools to trim or replace the claimed audio, the rights holder reviews it and changes their mind, or a licence turns out to cover you after all. Once the claim is gone, the video earns for the creator again from that point onwards. Money held back during a formal dispute is released to whichever side the dispute resolves in favour of.
A Content ID claim was never a strike. A retraction removes nothing from your standing. Channels that collect repeated claims can still lose access to dispute tools, which is a separate consequence.
