Copyright Match Tool

Access comes with the Partner Programme or with a history of valid copyright takedown requests. It scans videos uploaded after yours, so it only helps if you published first, and it looks for full or near-full copies rather than short clips lifted into somebody else's edit. Matches appear in Studio, where you can archive them, message the uploader or request removal. The tool knows only who uploaded first. It has no idea who owns the work, so channels reuploading with permission appear alongside genuine theft. Requesting removal is a takedown and puts a copyright strike on the other channel, which is a serious thing to do on autopilot.
