Good standing
Also called: channel in good standing
Good standing is the quiet requirement sitting behind everything else. Joining the Partner Programme needs it alongside the subscriber and watch-hour thresholds, and features get pulled while a strike is live. Strikes expire after ninety days. Three inside that window ends the channel. A warning is separate from a strike and leaves your standing intact, though it is the notice that the next one will count. Copyright and Community Guidelines run on different systems with different counters, which is where the confusion starts: a Content ID claim is neither a strike nor a threat to your standing, whatever the email wording suggests.
