Policy, Copyright & Compliance
Harassment and cyberbullying policy
Also called: harassment policy
The rule covers content aimed at an individual: threats, prolonged abuse, publishing someone's private details, and directing an audience to go after them. It applies to the video, the title, the thumbnail, the comments and the live chat, so a clean video with a channel-run pile-on underneath is still in scope. Commentary and drama channels sit nearest the line. Criticising what a public figure said or did is treated very differently from content whose purpose is the person themselves. Enforcement runs from a removal to a strike, and strikes accumulate, which is how channels built entirely on conflict tend to end.
