Knowledge panel

Also called: knowledge graph panel

Google assembles it from its Knowledge Graph, drawing on licensed databases, public sources, structured data and its own crawl of the web. For creators it matters because a panel can carry your name, image, channel links and a short description, and that is often the first thing a brand or a journalist sees. You cannot edit a panel directly. The route in is to be a clearly identifiable entity across the web, then claim the panel through Google and submit suggested changes, which are reviewed rather than applied on request. No amount of markup guarantees one appears.
