Official Artist Channel

An OAC gets music-specific treatment: a music note next to the channel name, releases organised into albums and singles, and the auto-generated Topic content folded in instead of competing with the artist's real channel.

You cannot apply for one yourself. The request comes from a label, distributor or music partner on your behalf, and the artist needs at least one official release delivered through that partner with metadata crediting them as the main artist. Sorting out Topic channel problems first is worth the effort, because duplicated or mis-credited artist entries are the usual reason a request stalls.
