One-take video
Also called: single take, one-shot video
No edit means no rescue. One-take videos trade the safety of cutting for pace and presence, and they work when the person on camera is relaxed enough to keep going through a stumble. The saving is genuine: no assembly and no tidying, so a finished piece can be published within the hour.
The cost lands earlier. A loose one-take runs long and sags in the middle, so the preparation that would have gone into the edit moves into the structure, either a rehearsed shape or bullet points where a script would sit. Anything needing precision, a tutorial with exact steps or a sponsored read, is a poor candidate.
