A run of show lists each block in order with a start time, a duration, the person responsible and any cue the crew has to hit. Countdown, welcome, sponsor read, guest, questions, sign-off. Broadcast teams have worked from one for decades and the format transfers straight to a stream run by one person in a spare room.
Its real job is protecting you from decisions made live. Anything you have to work out mid-stream costs attention you owe the audience, so the document exists to make the next ten minutes already decided.
