Creators reach for the word when views collapse and nothing obvious explains it. The channel is still up, the video is still public, and the numbers have fallen off a cliff. It covers several different suspicions at once, from a video going missing in recommendations to a comment being quietly held, and there is no setting or status by that name to point at.

The useful move is to name the metric that actually changed. Impressions falling, click-through falling and average view duration falling all feel identical from the outside, and each one points at a different problem.
