Shorts shelf

Shorts appear in their own full-screen feed and also in rows placed inside other surfaces. A search for a topic can return a Shorts row alongside the standard results, the home feed can show one between long-form recommendations, and a channel page has a Shorts section of its own. Landing in a shelf means the thumbnail and first frame are visible before playback, which differs from the swipe feed where the video simply starts. You can reorder or hide the Shorts section on your channel page if long-form is what you want visitors to see first.
