Tutorial video

Also called: how-to video, walkthrough

One of the highest-volume formats on the platform. It is also the one people most often arrive at with a problem already phrased as a question, so a tutorial promises a defined outcome and gets judged on whether the viewer reaches it. Structure follows the task itself: show the finished result, list what is needed, work through the steps in order, then confirm it worked.

Burying the answer under a long preamble is the standard failure. Someone who came for a specific fix will leave the moment they suspect the useful part is five minutes away. Chapters and a timestamped description help, and a title matching the words people actually use matters more here than intrigue.
