Policy, Copyright & Compliance
Video restrictions
Also called: restrictions, restrictions column
In the content list, a column beside each video shows anything limiting who can see it or how it earns. Copyright claims, blocked in some countries, age restrictions, made for kids and monetisation limits all surface there, and hovering gives an impact summary with a review or appeal button. YouTube now labels the column Notices, though creators and most guides still call these restrictions. A dash means nothing is wrong. Check it after every upload, because a partial block or a quietly applied claim can sit on a video for weeks before it shows up in the revenue.
