Channel Audit

Also called: content audit, channel review, channel health check

An audit steps back from the next upload and looks at the channel the way a stranger would. It typically covers positioning, whether the name, banner and trailer say what the channel is for, the packaging on recent videos, the state of the library and playlists, and what the analytics say about which formats hold people.

The output that matters is a short ordered list of changes. Audits fail in two directions: they turn into an inventory of everything imperfect, which nobody can act on, or they get run monthly, which is more often than most channels generate enough data to justify one.
